Laura Smith ~ Between the Earth And My Soul

The wonderful Canadian singer/songwriter Laura Smith has been a brilliant voice in the world folk-music firmament since her debut in the 1970's - in fact, her 1999 recording of 'MY BONNY' with the great Irish band, The Chieftains, won the LiveIreland Award for Best Celtic Tune of the Decade (2000-2010). Her 1994 album Between the Earth and My Soul received two East Coast Music Awards. Laura has been Juno-nominated; her 1994 album Between The Earth and My Soul received two East Coast Music Awards. She has two Geminis to her credit and recently she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Mt. St. Vincent University for her songwriting.
